In 1997, Alvaro began helping lawyers by teaching them how to achieve the holy grail of greater profits for less work. Now, Alvaro’s clients ask for his counsel in every facet of their business growth.
He believes lawyers should do two things: represent clients and foster new clients. Anything that takes them away from that needs to be delegated. He also believes law firms should inherit the two do-wells: Do Well By The Client & Do Well By The Employee. To do so, his clients receive a comprehensive and streamlined set of solutions organized and funneled through a central database. This lets attorneys spend less time on administration details or capturing time and more emphasis on clients or at home.
These days he shares his knowledge by speaking at frequent CLE seminars, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Annual Conference on Law Practice Management or at solo practitioner boot camps. Fluent in Spanish, he can assist Latin American attorneys here and other countries. Aside from helping many of Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia’s Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, he is proud to claim top tier lawyers recognized globally by Chambers, 7 of the Top 100 Georgia Super Lawyers and 3 of US News Best Law Firms in America as clients. They are also frequent experts on CNN and other national news sources.
When not saving lawyers from inefficiencies, Alvaro would rather spend time with his loved ones, helping his home community or expanding his photography portfolio by traveling around the world. His literature studies in Cambridge, England and creative writing degree allowed him to teach graduate students and help start a screenwriting program at USF in Tampa. He also contributes his time serving on four operating boards of non-profit organizations here in Atlanta and in his hometown of San Francisco.

Mike Hawkins, Founder of The Hawkins Law Firm, P.C. in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of only five lawyers in the state of Georgia who is Board Certified in DUI Defense as recognized by the American Bar Association. Listed as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Georgia by Atlanta Magazine and included among their list of “Super Lawyers” for the past 11 years, he is named “2014 Lawyer of the Year” for DUI Defense in Georgia in the latest edition of Best Lawyers in America featured in U.S. News & World Report magazine. He is Vice-Chairman of the DUI Committee for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and currently serves as Chairman of the Board Certification Committee for the National College for DUI Defense. Mike has served on the Board of Regents for the NCDD since 2008 and has been invited to teach trial techniques to lawyers and judges in 12 states. In 2009, he created the NCDD Foundation, Inc., the non-profit organization that helps raise funds for public defenders to attend advanced DUI defense training. Walt Murray w/ Horizon Background Screening
Walt Murray, Vice President of Horizon Background Screening, has been involved in background checks investigations for more than 10 years. Walt has worked as an executive in two other companies, and has had to hire and dismiss employees, and so he has handled employment issues from both the on-boarding process side, and from the employer side.
Walt is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, and has lived in the Atlanta area since 1978. Walt is active in his church and he and his wife have served as foster parents, and adopted two children from foster care.

Evan Rosen w/ Jackson Lewis P.C.
Evan M. Rosen is a Shareholder in the Atlanta office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He is a litigator and counselor who is committed to the maxim,”Don’t tell me what I can’t do, Tell me how I can legally do want I want to do.” He approaches the law from compliance and liability perspective,but is also keenly sensitive to the business realities facing companies and aggressively pursues good business results for his clients.
Evan’s practice focuses on representing employers in a wide array of matters within labor and employment law and encompasses:
- Defending companies against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage& hour, breach of contract, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and wrongful termination charges and lawsuits.
- Counseling companies on an eclectic range of employment policies and practices, including for example, hiring, discipline and discharge, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodation, wage and hour issues, background checks, and other workplace policies. He also regularly trains managers and employees on a variety of workplace best practices.
- Drafting agreements and policies, such as employee handbooks, employment agreements, separation agreements, independent contractor agreements, and employment policies.
- Assisting companies with managing their relationship with unions by working to keep companies union free,spearheading the defense of union election campaigns, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, anddefendingcompaniesagainstunfairlaborpracticechargesandgrievances.
Evan is originally from New Jersey, but his wife is a good Georgia Bulldawg. They have two wonderful children. In addition to spending time with his family,he enjoys reading both fiction and non-fiction books and is an avid soccer and baseball fan.
